Hole saw set includes nine high-speed hole saws, two arbors, and one 1/4" arbor adapter and is used with an electric drill (sold separately) to cut circular holes. M42 bi-metal saws can be used to cut holes in wood, plastic, aluminum, brass, cast iron, and stainless steel. Saw blades have a variable pitch of 4-6 teeth per inch for faster cutting than a saw blade with 6 teeth per inch. 3/16"-thick backing plate eliminates the need for driving plates and prevents drive pin holes from elongating. Cutting depth of 1-3/4" and diameters of 3/4", 7/8", 1-1/8", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2", 2-1/4", and 2-1/2".
