finally added access door

Exactly what I wanted. Necessary access due to the bath tub in the bathroom being low against the wall of the bedroom closet. Ease of installation. Used a stud finder to determine the 14 inch spacing between the wall studs. You don't want the rack to be in the middle of the access space, do you? or do you want In any case, it works fine. Cut out drywall with straight edges. Cut drywall with a drywall saw. Vacuum the dust, caulk the edges directly to the drywall. The fit was perfect. Kind ofโ€ฆ

Good quality panel: sockets

I have a two-story house and the bathroom on the second floor had a water leak. The leak was severe but I couldn't see it until the paint was peeling off the ceiling. Because the previous owners were weird, they didn't have access to running water, and they were fine with that. I cut a hole in the ceiling, replaced the gasket to stop the leak and it took me a while to dry the spot. I decided to install a humidity sensor to prevent future leaks. I needed easy access to my leads and sensor. Thisโ€ฆ

High Quality Access Panel

I am satisfied with the quality of the access panel. I used a small square (12" x 8") to mark the hole and then cut it out with a multitool with a drywall cutter blade. I decided to cut a hole 1/8 inch larger than needed for the access panel. If I had to do it all over again I would make it 1/16 inch and use sandpaper if needed to ensure smooth insertion. Taking advice from other reviews, I used Lexel with release clips to mount the access panel. I would also recommend Lexel which is a greatโ€ฆ

Great price and higher quality than I've found in big stores!

I had to cut a hole in the side of my front loading washer to access the drain filter (only the other way takes an hour and requires removing the washer body). This access panel allows me to get there to clean the drain filter of 10# dog hair a week without having to take half the washing machine apart. The lid is well made and pretty sturdy, I just cut out a square hole and glued it in with liquid nails. Now all I have to do is pull the washing machine one foot forward and use the butter knife
