Worked best in the Tools and Equipment section.

Purchased to repair the head gasket on a 2007 Volvo V50 T5 AWD. This tool aligned the camshafts as needed. Volvo is back on the road with a new head gasket. Top tip, fix coolant leaks and don't let your car run out of coolant :)

Worked great great price

A friend brought me a Volvo that another shop was working on ----- bought this tool because it was necessary for the job and as I have never worked with a Volvo I didn't want to spend a lot for 1 Use tool - it solved my problems

Saved vehicle under Tools & Equipment

Purchased This 2012 C30R for $300, perfect condition except the previous owner moved the timing belt. Kit used, all cam phasing adjusted and it started like new from the factory ie no bent valves. I sold this C30R for $12,000! That was more than enough to buy a new Boxster S six-speed gearbox!

Durable and heavy. With restrictions.

Returned due to camshaft cover locking tool not fully closing camshaft cover, insufficient height on cross member. I could have slipped under the bar, but I didn't want to waste any more time. Closed enough to tighten the screws. Used it on c70 2008. Otherwise very stable and heavy. It didn't need to be sealed so I can't say if it will hold up.
