Good attic fan

I am using this fan under the turbine vent in a converted attic. I run it from a 12 volt power supply connected to a timer. It pulls out a lot of air and makes less noise than a regular attic fan!

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Doubt

Blows great on spares

Installed this on my 1979 F150 Inline 6, the old radiator fan just wasn't cooling enough, I added this to the radiator and turned on the switch in the cab next to the light switch. , I turn it on when I'm not moving that much and it really cools the truck down.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • No

Perfect replacement for my 350cc quads radiator fan.

Quick and easy to install on my quad. There are multiple mounting hole positions, so you can easily find the right one. It runs smooth and quiet and has served well so far. If anything changes I will edit this review to update it.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Weight

Awesome fan for truck cases.

Installed in the body of my truck along with a cheap ESC. At 50%, the fan draws 14W, giving me about 37 hours on the Jackery 500 if I completely drain the battery. This creates good airflow so I can sleep when camping when we have wet nights.

  • Beautiful

Great for use with solar panels

I've used mine to ventilate a storage area for most of the summer in very hot weather. I use it directly on the solar panels so it only works during the day but it works all day with no problems. Very quiet. The speed at which it works depends on how many panels you have connected to it. Without a battery, it runs very quickly and is a bit louder, but moves a lot of air. With two solar panels connected, it moves a decent amount of air and is very quiet. It moves more than many others designed…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Extremely reliable.

I use firewood to heat my 1800 m². feet by circulating a mixture of hot water and antifreeze through 10 radiators, one in each room. Each radiator has one of these fans connected to a wall thermostat. To reduce noise in some rooms I used a 1.5 ohm 10 watt resistor. The great thing about these fans is that they are reversible; So on some rads I'm pulling air into the room and on other rads I'm pushing air through the rads into the room. Depending on the design of the louvers, the blade can…

  • Good construction

  • Some disadvantages

3 years and still! Buy a second fan now for another project!

First I bought 2x 12" fans, 1x 16" fan. The 16 inch fan is 3 years old and runs at 95f+ for about 15 hours a day. It draws about 4 amps on startup and about 2.5 amps when running in pusher mode to dissipate heat underground, which gets pretty hot here in South Carolina in the summer. I had no problems with this device and it still works the same as the day I bought it. I should mention that I'm not sure how they came up with the CFM ratings. The 16 inch fan moves 1850 cubic feet of air per…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
