after a few months they started to rust. Everyone always says metal is better than plastic for bird safety but now I'm at a loss

They are hard to get to stay in the cage

They are designed to be wedged between bars but the screws loosen when used by guinea pigs and end up that they tip over and spill all the food out. seems pointless

It is great! on Feeding & Watering Supplies

I use these on my gliders and they are enough to feed everyone and I have 7 of them so it doesn't take long at all. They are simple and easy to attach to the cage, they are very durable and easy to remove and clean.

Better than plastic

These stainless steel bird bowls are perfect for your feathered babies. It is easy to clean, remove and very durable. I replaced my birds with plastic bowls because over time they started biting them. I recommend stainless steel bowls.

Good product easy to clean

Bought these for my cockatiel's cage and they fit well. I had an issue with the first set I received - there was a protruding piece of metal that didn't allow the cymbal to fit in the ring. Received a replacement set and one of the plates was badly dented. Luckily I didn't get the first set back so I was able to pull off a good double. They were sent in a plastic bag so the second set was probably crumpled.
