Product works great on my 2011 BMW 535 XDrive! As a Bimmer, you probably know that we don't have a special oil change discount like other models. I refuse to pay $120 for an oil change that I can do myself for $40 (oil, filter, etc.). In all honesty, the process takes about 10 minutes, if that, from start to finish. Ten minutes of your time to save $80 is a win-win in my opinion!

Fits oil filter cap on BMW 335i with N55 engine (I have E90) very well (not perfect). There is a little play, but it's slightly within acceptable limits. I have a genuine BMW tool (for about the same money) and it fits horribly by comparison. The packaging is ridiculously good (too good) and the fact that it's made in the USA is a plus. The design is actually in two parts, and it's quite interesting how they went about it.

Fits the filter cap and all but it seems to be too small given the 10 or so BMWs I've used it on since I got it always received sticks to the lid and is difficult to get out. I love that I can use it to tighten the cap, but it's too small and for anyone who works on cars it's a hassle to wiggle and pry the sockets open. I've never had this problem with my other oil filters. Besides, it's beautiful

I had to read some reviews before ordering the product. Does it do the job? Of course. But the cap inside is a little big for BMW X3 F25 (2011-2017) oil filter, so it will slip a little. I probably overtightened it when tightening after an oil change and it slipped past where it should line up with the grooves, but now I can't pull it off without removing the entire oil filter, which would mean that oil is also leaking from this area. . Worked great on my 228i for my first do-it-yourself oil change. Perfect fit without being too tight. The fit, finish and quality have exceeded my expectations. Just a note for those doing their first oil change on a 228i regarding resetting the service oil indicator. I've looked at all the videos on the internet but I haven't been able to play their results and restart my computer. The trick is to lightly press the start button twice to put the car in guard position without starting the engine.
