I had to read some reviews before ordering the product. Does it do the job? Of course. But the cap inside is a little big for BMW X3 F25 (2011-2017) oil filter, so it will slip a little. I probably overtightened it when tightening after an oil change and it slipped past where it should line up with the grooves, but now I can't pull it off without removing the entire oil filter, which would mean that oil is also leaking from this area. . Here's my wife getting under the hood with this oil cap. The good news is that it fits under the hood I think and I don't have to look for it on my next oil change. Once I've removed it I'll take it off the cap and possibly use another product or a general purpose oil filter band tool. If you also have an X3 F25, try something else.
