Disappointed: Replacement Parts

My mechanic installed this new sensor and the truck started but buzzed so he shut it down then it wouldn't start for a while then started again and buzzed like crazy again. The mechanic then removed the sensor from one of the trucks working in his shop, installed it in my truck and it worked perfectly. So I had to return the one I bought and the mechanic took it back as I was going to get a different type. This sensor was bad, so reviews of some not working are real.

Fix my truck! best spare parts

2002 f250 7.3 184k miles. The truck ran for about 14 minutes and shut down, wouldn't start until the oil cooled. So I pressurized but the valve wouldn't open to release the excess pressure so it shut off. It took about 10 minutes to swap parts, it idled for 25 minutes, shut down and immediately started again, took a test drive and stopped. Drove 150 miles round trip the next day to pick up a 16,000 pound fifth wheel and have never looked back.

It's definitely sturdy

So far I'm very happy with the product. I will install it. I rebuilt my HPP with new gaskets and was pretty sure the IPR valve was bad. It showed 4000psi o. My hpop and ipr valve held 4.5psi and wouldn't budge. My 2000 7.3 had a rough idle afterwards and I'm pretty sure it's the valve. Let's find out. But overall I would definitely recommend using motor boats than any other brand. Update, this definitely runs a lot smoother. It is stable and the injectors are no longer starving. Excellent…

Be careful; Many of them are defective from the factory!

I work in a certified workshop and have heard that many of them do not work well. I bought one from a Ford dealer a few years ago and it broke; This created an unstable pressure that caused the truck to shake a lot and could be scary. I sent this back, restored my original and the truck ran fine. But I've worked with tuners who like to blame their incompetence on a mechanical problem with my truck. I bought this to cover the bases and let them know it's not my truck. Worked fine for a while…

I am a proponent of buying genuine parts for my PowerStroke.

Hoist motor OEM parts are by far the best way to save you a headache. I was thinking of a cheaper fraction of the price. I'm pretty sure if I had gotten cheaper I would still be looking for a fault in my motor. Although I have over 30 years experience as a mechanic, I have worked with gas powered vehicles during those years. This is the first time I've owned a diesel or done anything other than basic stuff with it. and trying to diagnose the error that was causing it not to start was a whole…
