You need the exact details. The driving characteristics are great!

Ordered on February 17th (Saturday) from Autoplicity via Revain. They were a few bucks more expensive than the others, but the other one was in stock, Autoplicity said it was in stock, and I needed it relatively soon. Got an email on February 19th saying it was "postponed" I guess god! To my surprise, the goods will be at my door on February 20th! The part was exactly OEM as advertised, installed and works great!

Pros
  • Made with high quality materials
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great for 2007 Explorer V6

This part worked fine on my 2007 Explorer. The EGR is located at the rear of the engine so it was difficult to get to the main exhaust pipe going to the valve to break it off the old part but once that was done the process was pretty smooth. The Motorcraft part is great as it's the main supplier that Ford uses for parts and it's a lot cheaper than the dealer. The fit was perfect and I haven't had any issues since replacing them last fall.

Pros
  • Fluid Control
Cons
  • Some issues

This part is suitable for 2006 Ford Explorer. One tip: .

This part fits 2006 Ford Explorer. A piece of advice: if you want to get this job done in twenty minutes. Buy an EGR mounting bracket from Ford (about $40). Call Ford parts. You're just looking for a bracket (the EGR sensor comes with a gasket). The mount is not sold in auto parts stores. The screws for attaching the sensor to the bracket are usually welded in there (two 10 mm screws). Don't waste time removing screws when you can buy a mount. Remove the bracket (two 8mm screws), I should say…

Pros
  • Excellent Durability
Cons
  • Good

Remanufactured 2005 Ford Explorer

I remanufactured a 2005 Ford Explorer with engine test code P0401 (insufficient EGR flow). This car appears to have a combined DPFE sensor and EGR valve. The new part differs slightly from the original (lower part of the EGR valve). Otherwise, it exploded straight up. The new part comes with a new steel gasket and two mounting bolts. I'm very happy with the result because after the exchange the horrible code didn't come back. If you have the patience and a set of wrenches, this job is easily…

Pros
  • Abrasion and Corrosion Resistant
Cons
  • Quality
