Motorcraft DPFE2 Recirculation Pressure Feedback Review

Based on my experience, this sensor is a waste of money. It gave inaccurate readings and caused my car to run poorly. The only positive thing I can say is that it was easy to install. However, the cons far outweigh this one pro. I would not recommend this sensor to anyone in need of a reliable automotive feedback sensor.

I also bought the wrong sensor and of course I needed an expensive sensor. The text on the back isn't the same as the photo but it has the same Ford Gray plastic rear cover and I can't find any other brands that have this so I'm assuming it's genuine and maybe a newer one version or something . Without complaining he turned off my light and I used it for half the price and it looks and works great.

This fits my 1995 Ford Ranger - I got tired of constantly replacing this sensor with cheap aftermarket sensors - I decided to try the Motorcraft part and so far it's working great . DPFE2 has a 0.5V reference (at the same pressure) and DPFE15 has a 1V reference. As far as I can tell this model is suitable for many older cars. When your EGR system has failed, you seem to suffer from a drop in MPG and an increase in emissions. Can't check emissions yet - MPG has recovered.
