Worked great on a 1976 Ford 460

My 460 76 in my F350 ran like a champ, now starts easier, runs smoother, revs higher. I can't believe such a cheap part fixed so much that was wrong with the truck.

Perfect replacement

Perfect fit, good quality forks and function as advertised. After checking everything and narrowing down the search to the ECU, the ignition problem was resolved. The last was a 43 year old OEM. Hope it lasts as long.

  • Decent performance

1979 f150 302 works great!

That's not a play on words. The product arrived a few days earlier than Revain told me. I'm a computer engineer by trade and recently started restoring my father's pickup truck after he died of cancer. I hooked this up to his truck and now it works and purrs like a kitten. Thanks to the seller for the fast delivery, as well as to the manufacturer of the goods. It's smaller than the original, but it works. To install every but three minutes.

Pros
  • hands-free calling
Cons
  • reliability

I've had issues with Standard Products modules that didn't last more than a few years and thought the Motorcraft module was worth trying even though it was about twice the price. I connected and tested it first when I got it and the machine worked straight away, I put it aside for future use. In

Part not marked MOTOCRAFT

The part works perfectly (only tested approx 50 miles) but it is advertised as a Motocraft ignition module. local auto parts store for other spare parts. But I can't find any markings on it to suggest it's actually a genuine Motocraft module. On my original, the name was embossed directly onto the part. I'm not saying it's not a Motocraft module, but it's hard to imagine a company like Motocraft making a product without their name on it. UPDATE: 12/20/13 I have contacted Motorcraft and they…
