Exactly what I needed!

Even though the dealer installed this, they only charged $50 for the process. At the time I bought the removal/installation tool, anti-seize, etc. . I would spend almost half of that.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Functionality

Exactly what I needed. Ideal as a replacement. The only problem you will encounter is getting the old one out of the exhaust pipe.

I ordered 3 sensors, only one was suitable.

I ordered 3 sensors, only one had the right cable length. Buyer Warning. Ask for connector ends and wire lengths first, even if the part numbers match Ford materials.

Pros
  • Package dimensions: .254 H x 18.796 D x 3.81 W (centimeters)
Cons
  • Reliability

Perfect Fit For 2003 Ford Ranger 4

Perfect Fit For 2003 Ford Ranger 4.0L Front Gauge. The Check Engine light came on and my Autel code reader read a "Bank 1 Sensor 1" error. Used the Tekton 47749 sensor tool and sprayed the threads of the old sensor several times over the course of two days with a PB blaster. Access is via the front passenger wheel well. Apply anti-seize to the threads of the new sensor.

Pros
  • Part #: DY847
Cons
  • Hard To Tell
