Type of review

2010 F-150 4.6L 2-valve engine will not fit. Be sure to look at your original (many don't have coolant wires or connectors) and compare it to the supplied part. Judging by the number of 'Not Suitable' complaints, it's clear they would rather sell the valves than take the time to update their application information.

Pros
  • Excellent durability
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I replaced the old part and like many other genuine parts on my car they can probably last another 50,000 miles. Amazing durability and low cost, typically lower than replacement parts. Motorcraft don't advertise their parts with flashy, expensive ads, and I think they put all that advertising money into the quality and reliability of their products. I'm a fan now

Don't trust Revain when it comes to fit. Check it out for yourself.

Take the time to see what type of PCV your engine uses. It can be removed in less than a minute without tools. If you have it and it doesn't look like it (other than the blue/green color it might be) then you probably need something else. This matches the 2005 V10 Excursion which uses a 2 valve engine and an electrically heated PCV. Although unlikely to fit a 3 valve. If you run coolant lines to your PCV instead of an electrical plug, this isn't for you.

Pros
  • Abrasion and corrosion resistant
Cons
  • No mold required

Works great on 2004 F-250 6.8 V10

I bought this truck used and have never seen this valve ever changed. My gas per gallon was lower than it should have been, and because the V10 is so greedy even 1-2mpg makes a difference (that's the difference between 8 and 10-11mpg). Installation is quite simple, there are several videos on the Internet showing replacements for 5.4-liter and several 6.8-liter engines. Just take your time and be careful when removing the old PCV so you don't break the green clip. Considering the cost of this…

Pros
  • Fluid Control
Cons
  • Not sure
