Great filter - make sure you have a new cap with you the first time you change the filter! The case cover that comes from the factory has a built-in external filter and you cannot use it. Filter with this top. You must buy a new top without a built-in filter, otherwise it will not fit.

I have prepared the necessary parts for a full fuel filter replacement. Upon installation, I noticed the new Motorcraft center filter element lined up in the filter basket. Could not be repaired or adjusted. I had to run to the store for a replacement and the fuel system was left open. I sent the filter back. Make sure you have the original cap when replacing a non-original cap. It doesn't match the one-piece cover and screen. Luckily I had mine. It would be five stars except the o-ring that goes between the body and cap is totally unacceptable. Mine was too big, so much so that it was impossible to use.
