Perfect fit and functionality.

I was having some trouble with the transmission on my 2003 Ford Explorer and decided to just change the filter and oil. I didn't have high hopes that this would solve my problems, but it did. The transmission filter was identical to the original filter on my Ford. Perfect fit and functionality.

For Ford buy this Motorcycle Transmission Filter

For Ford buy this Motorcycle Transmission Filter. Transmissions are expensive, this filter is not worth it. Outstanding quality. Labeled by Filtran as the best you can get. In the kit you get a filter and 2 gaskets that are already on the filter. The pallet seal can be reused. Just reuse. This filter is installed at the factory. Don't buy the price. shop quality.

Matching OEM filter for 2002 Ford Explorer 4.6L V8 with 5R55S transmission.

Although Revain does not list this filter as compatible with my 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4.6L V8, it does fit. FordParts.com listed this as the part number I need based on my VIN. I removed the original factory filter and compared it to this new one. All part numbers matched and they looked the same. I like to use an OEM part in an application like this where it rarely changes. It was easy to install and has been working ever since.
