The engine works great!

Be prepared to spend some time replacing this motor. You may want to take photos of the wiring and motor under the seat before removing it from the car. The hardest part is removing the engine. There are two torque screws that go through the rail into the motor and need to be removed. Have a 12 volt power source to move the seat to get to the mounting screws. Take your time. You'll save a lot of money doing it yourself when you're mechanically inclined. Much luck. PS this engine has three…

MM951 Seat Motor Assembly

As mentioned by other reviewers, this is a fully assembled assembly with three motors, not just one motor. This does not include seat rails. Installation is easy, albeit time-consuming. Installation was in the driver's seat of an 80,000 mile 2003 Lincoln Town Car. The lower right seat side rail and relay computer must be removed to make room to remove the old motor assembly and install the new unit. Don't forget that there are two torx fasteners that attach the assembly to the left side rail…

Parts Promotion

Bought this motor for a 2002 TownCar driver's seat with memory. I checked with a local dealer and the new OEM motor was $220 and thought about getting it as I knew it would work and Town Car only used that seat motor on the 2002 model (at least that's what my mechanic said.when it arrived 2 days later (amazon said it might be a few days delayed which wasn't true) i was surprised that what i received wasn't even close to the picture.the box contained an almost complete assembly and when I took…

I bought this motor after experimenting on the passenger side. I think it will fit 1999-2007 models. This engine is a physical match for my 2003 F250. If you're like me, you've looked for a replacement seat motor and been unlucky. That will help. However, the wiring harness is a male end and the factory connector is a female end. You have 2 options. You can cut the factory wiring harness and replace it with a new motor, it works great and I did it last time. Magneto and brushes cpl. Worked like

Can be made to run on a 2001 Ford Taurus SES

I recently repaired the power seat on a 2001 Ford Taurus SES. After removing the driver's seat motor and drive mechanism, I took the part to my local Ford dealership to see if I could purchase a replacement. The Ford dealer could only sell me the entire sliding rack mechanism for more than the car's worth. Then I turned to the internet. Revain sells several of these drive mechanisms, but the descriptions are insufficient to give a prospective buyer the information they need to match them to any
