Maybe I'm paying too little.

Tested on battery, no light at all. These folks sell some sort of adapter to screw it in where the old enclosed headlights go, but there's no information on its size or that it can fit. I call this purchase a failure and move on.

  • Decent performance

  • Some cons

Good replacement for old bulbs

Used on 77 Kawasaki KE100 and so far so good. The lamp consumes very little energy for lighting. I used it to retrofit a burnt out overpriced pressure bar and I am very satisfied. The color is much more blue while the older style bulbs were yellow which could be an issue for some factory restorers.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • old

You may or may not be lucky

It seems that the price is good, but it seems to me that there is not enough QC. Using a 6V DC power supply, I tested it on the bench. 20 minutes later it exploded. The LEDs themselves are still fine, but I think the heat generated has caused them to expand and the top cover (where the internal electrical connections are made) to have fallen off.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

I see ! fits lighting and lighting accessories

I installed these LED lights on my 1926 Chevrolet and couldn't be happier. The car began life with intermittent lightbulbs. As you can imagine they were so dark you couldn't see the street. I then replaced them with halogen bulbs, but the 6 volt halogen bulbs required the car to be running at full speed and they drew more current than my alternator needed. At night they can be seen during the day. They are very bright and my alternator draws about 1 amp. That's a far cry from 15 amps ofโ€ฆ

I don't know if the lamp is good or bad.

Here's the deal: I used a lightbulb on my '72 Yamaha CT-2. She drove 29 miles and then burned out. The reason for this can be twofold. 1. 6VAC headlight circuit. Bicycle scale 6VDC. For some reason Yamaha chose not to repair the headlight circuit, so the bulb may have blown on the AC. When I took it apart I found that the wire from the front of the resistor to the front "board" was blown - it almost looked like a blown line fuse. 2. The wire may have broken due to road/two-stroke vibration. Iโ€ฆ
