Zebra DS4308-HD7U2100AZW: High Density Area Scanner Kit with Shielded USB Cable, Black Review

The stand provided and obviously recommended by Revain does not fit this scanner in any way. The scanner head does not fit in the round socket of the stand and the handle does not fit in the stand.

My colleague ordered a scanner and it worked with all of our code types. I ordered the same scanner from the link he sent me and it's not the same scanner. Mine didn't read codes on laptop boxes like his, and the scanner was completely different, so it depends on which version they send you.

The scanner was having problems and I called Zebra Support. After checking the serial number they said it was not a real scanner. We have another one and the decal looks the same. The stamping here is yellow instead of black, and that's really the only visible difference. Contacted Amazon for return/refund. If you are looking for an authentic one, I recommend you buy it elsewhere.

The product has been described as a Zebra DS4308 scanner. The actual item had a DS4308 body but the scan engine inside was changed to a Honeywell n5600. Doesn't work with my system. The photos show that compared to the unmodified scanner, the case has been opened and the insides replaced with non-original parts. I bought 8 of these scanners and they were all like this.

The scanner is great and does everything I need very well. They have a free installer on their website that will set up your device exactly how you want it. Ours allows you to create a configuration file or scancode for each unique setting you may need. The software made it so easy and exceeded all expectations.
