Since 2015, Apple TV has used Bluetooth for long-distance connectivity, so your Apple TV and cables don't need to be visible. I used Velcro to attach the Apple TV to the back of the TV in my guest room to keep clutter to a minimum. The silicone remote cover and wrist strap were a nice bonus. I confide in my electronics but you never know what a guest will try!

I decided to return this immediately because it wasn't easy to mount an Apple TV in it, let alone remove it. It did leave a few marks on the Apple TV when plugged in and out, but the biggest issue and the biggest factor in deciding whether to return it was the lack of a proper cutout for the Apple TV fan to vent hot air drain the device. I do not recommend this particular product and voice caution to those looking for something similar. Make sure you land on one that provides adequate airflow.

I installed this behind my TV so the Apple TV and its cables are not visible. Works perfectly. In my last home, I hammered some nails into the drywall to do the same thing, so it was definitely a step forward :) One thing I do want to note is that the adhesion was a little questionable. I don't really blame the product as the stickiness is kind of a balancing act depending on the color. For myself I replaced them with extension cords. I suppose the strips that come with it will work just fine…

When I upgraded my 2004 Apple TV to the new 4K version, the thicker set needed a new mount. This one did the job very well. Don't miss there is a very nice "case" for the remote control. It turns out to be a very good device that gives other overly slim Apple TV remotes more self-control and protection. I used a mount plus an adhesive backing to attach the device: it seems secure enough. A good device, maybe two dollars more expensive for what it is.
