Mount Tilt Wall Mount Bracket Review

The mounting kit for this was wrong, the tension knobs were too short so they only fit on one side of each TV mount, a key was missing on the hinge pins, the mounts had no support and were weak, after installation , which did not mention the instructions for the TV mount roll pins, the TV will tilt and not stay level. The clearance from the wall due to the brackets actually allows it to stick out 5-6 inches from the wall. This is a cheap flimsy metal TV mount with the wrong hardware and missing

I have bought many of these mounts over the years and can see the change in quality on this mount.1. the thickness of the metal has been reduced, so now both the wall plate and the metal thickness of the brackets are cheaper than the class! 2. This is a very strong mount compared to others. The part you screw to the wall is a single piece, not two parts screwed together. I gave it one star because it didn't have the right screw size for my Samsung TV (weird, but not that big of a deal). and because the one I received had a completely different bottom "clip" than the one shown on Revain (see adjacent image). I needed a wall mount that spans 3 supports to get to the wall mounted unit which had my GC on a support left and right of the center TV bracket on a level with power and data connections in the wall, which requires an open design with a narrow rib in between. I needed a mount that would hold a very heavy plasma TV. I have an old 60" Panasonic. Many wall mounts just couldn't hold it up. I bought this mount because it looked very strong. When I opened the box everything was exactly as described. This is the third of these mounts I've bought and with good reason. There are many "affordable" (read CHEAP) mounts that are just as cheap. They're cheap in every way, have flimsy metal, many parts that aren't rigid enough to hold the TV securely to the wall, and poor/poor quality hardware. However, I think this mount strikes a very good balance between affordable price and good quality. I gave 4 stars because the hardware isn't the best, but it works.
