They last for about 4 months, after which you can throw them away

01/29/20 I bought 2 of these on September 19th. Both are rubbish. I will never buy Continental tires again. Never. They seem to wear off to a point, and then bam, bullshit. I literally had a flat tire when a paper clip punctured the tire. OFFICE HOLDER, not a heavy HOLDER, not a packaging holder, one of the tiny, thin, flexible OFFICE HOLDERS. Look elsewhere

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

NOT EXACTLY puncture proof

Went on the trail for the first time and came back for these tiny spikes. I walked the same path and eventually returned home. Don't say they are puncture proof, these lugs were small and went through the tire like butter. Not very durable and you…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Legacy model

Fakes & Defetive - Sports

I have been using Race Kings for several years now. NEVER had a quality issue, thousands of miles on 3 different bikes. It's a whole different story. I believe they are fakes. The sidewalls are completely different from the Race Kings they replaced. But I put them on and did a short 15 mile dirt trail ride. The front wheel was obviously defective. When rolling, it looks like a drunk staggering from side to side down the street. (yes the rims are real) When I got back I put the bike on a stand…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Updates available

Really disappointing quality

I bought a pair of 26" x 2.2" Continental Cross King tires for my son's Trek Wahoo. The tires were horribly uneven at depth and wobbled 1cm (0.5in) when installed - see attached video. Both tires had the same driving profile, the embossing on the tire matched in the same spot so this seems to be a permanent flaw compared to the QS test run. I have always bought Continental tires for my road bike and Continental inner tubes for all family bikes. It is very disappointing to see a company…

Good value for money - cycling

I bought this tire on a whim as it was the only tire that could come to my house after a tire cut the day before my holiday. My LBS had nothing in stock. It is very easy to install with a small compressor and 2 ounces of sealant. I ran it from the back and it was solid. Lots of grip. I didn't weigh it before installing it, but it felt a little heavier than the SBI Fasttrak it replaced. I think the SBI is around 600g, so I'm thinking maybe 650g. I rode about 100 miles this week and never thought

2 out of 3 were factory defective

I bought 3. 2 out of 3 were defective and rocked on a perfectly straight rim with the prop installed and double checked at the local bike shop with and without tubes. One of the punctured tires was so bad that I couldn't live with it. Against common sense I got 3rd place and it was perfect. So, I have a star tire. One that wobbles a little that I can live with and one that is technically useful but very annoying, can feel the wobble and even see it wobble in my shade as I drive. I left the tire

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Expensive

Great tire:

After much thought, I bought two of these tires for my mountain bike. When they arrived I immediately checked them for problems (I do this for all tires). The tire is very well made and I like the wall thickness best. My previous tires were 29 x 2.1. I had no problem mounting this 2.2 tire on my rims. I've also used self-sealing tubing. I took the bike to the road test. On concrete these tires are very smooth and I felt traction. I rode through some road dirt and it worked fine. You should…

Pros
  • Dope Tires 🔥
Cons
  • Some issues
