Mountain Mist is a trusted cotton brand. I use this in a king size duvet. Cotton batting tends to make blankets stiffer and add weight, so after comparing this batting to cotton I settled on polyester batting, which is lighter and has a nice density.

I ordered this batting for a large quilt I am making. I haven't had any luck at the local shops where I live. I was expecting to have to sew the batting to the quilt due to the size. I also wanted low loft lashes. It was exactly what I wanted. I also had some cotton wool to save on the edges. The quality exceeded my expectations. I would definitely order this product again.

If you want something light and airy, then this wadding is for you. It's much lighter than cotton. I have used it for both wall hangings and baby blankets and it has worked well for both. If you prefer more weight and stability for your wall hangings, I recommend using cotton wool. Otherwise it works quite well and the added bonus is that when you hang your decorative curtains on a window or glass door the light will shine and illuminate the curtains beautifully. Nice!
