Hard wearing, high quality

These MOVO products are of incredibly high quality. They are all metal, very strong, and the moving parts are very strong. I have this tripod and video kit with microphone and they are all excellent in design and quality.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Excellent Phone Tripod

I like this one a lot. It feels good in the hands and the mini tripod on the ball end works really well. Good for vloggers and phone content creators. I have a complaint: I can't fully tighten the extension. it's a little annoying

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons

Meets my needs well for camera and photography

Looks like a well made product. Perfect for my needs. Not as stable as my big tripods, but too big for my specific application. I have no idea what the term "transparency" means, which is why I didn't click any of the stars. I hope this doesn't lower my 5 star rating.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Good but disappointing

The case it comes in has a strange splitter into two unequal parts that can hold three tripod parts. The tripod itself can hold my heavy camera with a 7riii+ lens, but the head locking mechanism doesn't work even on a 300g camera. You can't afford to try and block your head in the field. The extender lock is also weird and inconvenient. If it was cheaper then that's fine, it's not my fault but I feel like I paid too much

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

Disappointing. Not very durable

Ball joint! I have to agree with some of the other ball joint tightening reviews. I really like this product overall and it's probably very good for compact cameras and cellphones, but I can barely tighten the ball joint screw to mount my canon t6i with a 135mm lens. I have a plastic mini tripod that is sturdier than this and will likely continue to use it.

Very good table tripod if you don't use an extension

If you just need a sturdy tripod to hold your camera 5-6 inches off the table then this is a good option. I bought this tripod because it comes with an extension that fits between the legs and the ball head. I needed a 14 inch extension and this fitted just right. Unfortunately, the extension cord is very wobbly. No matter how tight you screw it to the base, there's a lot of give and therefore your camera will shake. around. Indoors, it is normal if there is no vibration anywhere. I would never

  • Only positive
Cons
  • Nothing here

1/4 " screw is not good for cameras

I use a tripod (with extension) to raise my Nikon mirrorless off the table for zooming. I have two problems with the tripod: 1 - The legs are pretty short. I can barely balance the Nikon Z6 with the f/4 24-70mm lens. It's not really the tripod's fault as the physics make the balance unreliable. But it would be nice if the legs were just an inch or two longer to give me a wider base2 - The real problem is that the 1/4" screw on the ball head is too long. It hits the bottom of the screw hole in…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Almost never

Brilliant design with a few small flaws.

Love the concept and the price. The size, weight and hand feel are great, the stability is great, the optics are great. Some things need improvement. Every adjusting screw and every ball head feels like sand. If you break the ball head it will go flat but the set screws need lube to feel better. I used some Tefgel lube which helped a bit and allowed me to actually tighten the ball head set screw tighter than without the lube. By the way, don't grease the ball, that's a bad idea. The last thing…
