Works as good as a $10 Walmart desktop fan. Disappointed with all the great reviews. This is nothing but an overrated fan.

It blows air, but no more than a small table fan. The cold water/ice did very little, if at all. Maybe if not in the heat but for our 90 degrees it wasn't worth the money.

Living in Florida I'm always looking for something different to keep us cool in the summer. This little device is quite powerful and I was surprised at how well it worked. We plan to take it on camping trips and use it at my daughter's sporting events.

In all the years of buying from Revain (and I love them) - I've never bought such useless junk. The instructions are written by someone who doesn't speak English - (Press "ANION" button!) - I put water in - and worked 1 hour - I had a fan blowing warm water on my face. NO COOLING AT ALL! It's nothing more than one of those $5 propeller fans that people put in their faces when they go alone. Real joke! In no case did 46 people give 4.8 stars! All "evaporative coolers" work by adding extra moisture to the air. This extra moisture from the ice and water you load into this unit will evaporate and effectively cool a small area EXCEPT and ONLY when the air in your location is not humid. But if you live where the average humidity is already over 50%, this device doesn't cool any better than a small fan. This product works very well, in my opinion it is best for one person or a small space. It even has some light in it. I don't think ice is necessary, it cools well with room temperature water. I think it works better than my box fan in cooling. However, only a USB cable was included, not a real power cord to plug into a wall. For the price, it's a bit silly. The cable is also short. The alleged reason for buying this device is the alleged "evaporative cooling". . Tried with ice in bowl and just cold water, no difference. (Even a full ice tray melts in about 5 minutes.)
