Only gave 4 stars because there were no instructions for replacing the wheels with inline skates. We figured it out, but it was a bit annoying.

Bought for my granddaughter's 5th birthday. she loves them She rides indoors and outdoors. The fact that you can move the wheels backwards for more stability while she's learning and the adjustable shoe is what won me over. This gift lasts longer than a minute.

These videos are great. The pads do their job well. I would not recommend using a helmet. I have it for the runners, which can also be skates, so I'm not worried about not using a helmet, but I recommend finding something safer.

My 6 year old daughter loves these roller skates. She's still trying to gather strength to hold on to it and stay on her feet, but the package includes skates, hand, knee, elbow, and head protection. Brilliant! If anything bothered me it was that she is a skinny kid so the bandage around her ankle is not very tight to support her but as she grows everything will be fine.

There were so few reviews when we bought them but we decided to give it a try and are glad we did. We ordered two more 4 wheel skates and it was very difficult for our child to balance on both of them so we weren't sure how she would handle the 3 wheel skates. Surprisingly she feels more confident and balanced on it and has a much easier time learning to skate. I haven't tried rollers yet. I am not happy with my purchase. We opened it for the first time yesterday as it was a gift for my son and the quality is ridiculously poor. A helmet is basically useless - you might as well put a piece of styrofoam on a child because it's a helmet. The helmet connector broke off trying to adjust it. There were no instructions in the box, so without having to come here to figure out how to customize them, if you're gifting them, this party won't be able to learn how to turn them into inline…
