Easy assembly. Grandchildren (6 and 10 years old) and I brought it together. It is much larger and more comfortable for our adult cat than its former cat tower. He was hanging in the boxes on either side of his last one, and this one has two big boxes with plenty of room for him. He especially likes the top tray that has low sides so he can stretch out and see what's going on.

A friend showed me this and I couldn't believe the price, here in Alaska it would easily cost 200.00. And Amazon shipped it (so nice). The supper is easy to assemble and very durable, it can also be wall mounted if you want it more secure. So we bought it for our ferrets and I give it two thumbs up! It was exactly what I was hoping for. I assembled this the day before 2 new kittens came to my house. I encouraged them to get up and explore. At 3 weeks this is their favorite place to hide, pounce on each other and nap. One prefers an attached wicker bed, the other nestles comfortably in one of the corners. The self-assembly took quite a long time. An extra pair of hands would really help. But I did and the kittens love it. He's really tough even when they push back to jump on their siblings and act very violent.

I bought this for my 5 month old kittens and they love it! Each of them has their own "apartment” for sleeping. The claws are beautiful and durable. The lounge bed is very soft, they will hang there together to look out the window or take a nap. One of my kittens loves loves a bucket to nap in. UPDATE: I've had it since July. My fat cat found a way to fit this thing anywhere. He even sleeps in flats and the fabric holds up to his daily stretches. It "fits" into the apartment - that's a vague term. His legs hang down when he lies down and when he lies down the fabric stretches a little.
