Mr Carpenters Carpentry Woodworking Carpenter Review

Bought because of the easy to read font. Unfortunately, the ledge that sits on the leading edge of the material is only about 3/8" tall instead of the usual 3/4" to 7/8" so I don't think I'll be using it. Change the theme. and I would say it would be a 5 star item.

I just bought this 7 inch speed square and it has worked great so far! I do all types of carpentry work and this thing gets used every day and it's holding up great! Also, I love the mustache logo, my colleague loves it!

This is one of those tools that needs to be accurate to do its job and it doesn't even come close. The main 90 degree angle is off and one edge is not flat as you can see in the photo. The workmanship is of poor quality and uneven. Anyone who gives these 5 stars must have gotten a better one than me.

The adage "you get what you pay for" has never been more true than with this cheap, poorly made piece of S#!@. Lesson learned. On the contrary, it's difficult to read and inspires a general distrust of anything it's supposed to do. Spend a little more than trying to save money here.

As far as I know, this square of Mr. Pen's speed has the best bang for your buck. It's made from the same lightweight aluminum as the more expensive squares and I really like the color contrast. It's easier to read. But the best! You will get this really cool Mr Pen mustache AT NO EXTRA COST! I wear it everywhere. My wife says I look 20 years younger wearing Mr. Pen's mustache!
