Doesn't work: Spare parts

Second time I tried it and it says it's 180f but it's actually 195f so beware waste of money must be a factory defect. don't do what he says

Pros
  • Includes pressure relief valve
Cons
  • Not bad but...

It works! - Replacement parts

After receiving this my machine was finally at the temperature I needed. I bought two other 180 degree thermostats and they closed at 192 not 180 as advertised, this is perfect for your LSX application. Yes, you pay more for quality. I tested inside and outside the car using a heat gun and infrared temperature sensor. A+ Mr. Poetry

Pros
  • High flow design for heavy duty applications
Cons
  • Faulty

They are great for me

They are great for me. I currently use three of these in three cars. I tried Hypertech but for some reason it worked with default temp. It may have been changed in the box, IDK. I just didn't want to try another Hypertech as I already had Mr. Gasket in another car that worked fine. So now I'm sticking with Mr Gasket 180* thermostats for my projects.

Pros
  • Open earlier than standard at 180 degrees
Cons
  • Not sure

This is a spare parts thermostat

It opens when hot and closes when not hot. If you don't know how to replace one of these, see where it is located on your engine. . If you're happy with that, buy this, a gasket made specifically for your car, some antifreeze/coolant (it's the same thing, but we call it coolant more often here in the desert), and paper towels. They wear out and will probably need to be replaced at some point and this is a very simple repair that you can do in your driveway/parking lot at your apartment and will

Pros
  • Includes rubber o-ring/gasket
Cons
  • Quality
