Old product! on clamps and sockets

Apparently sitting on the shelf for years; as shown by the yellowing of the plastic housing and the fading of the red anodized covers. If you're looking for something you already have, this isn't for you.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No instructions

TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY. BLEACHED COLOR.

I won't even install them. They look like they've been in a shop window for 50 years. They are bleached by sunlight. Extremely disappointed in Mr. Gasket. NOT ORDER.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

Mr Laying Hose Cuffs.

Looks very nice. I took advice from other reviews. He put on cut-resistant gloves. Larger pre-stretched hose cuffs with brush handle. Apply lubricant and slowly slide the sleeves onto the hoses. Cut out the sleeves with scissors. It took about half an hour. Costs money. Used on my 1972 Chevelle with 350 engine.

Pros
  • Includes anodized aluminum terminal covers
Cons
  • Broadly ok, but...

None of these sets are super easy, but they look great if you take your time. Lubricate the hoses with WD-40 or similar before attaching the stainless steel. Allow some time to "set it down" and put it all together. Don't even start if you have to get it back from the garage in 45 minutes!

Pros
  • Offers an affordable alternative to stainless steel
Cons
  • Nothing

They rust a few months after installation

Not worth the money at all. 1, when it arrived the packaging was damaged and the paint on the parts was faded. It looked like it had been in the sun for a couple of years. 2, it is not stainless steel. They rust after a few months. If you want your hoses to look good for a long time, spend your money and get real stainless steel hoses. There was an error.

Pros
  • Protects the engine hoses for extra durability
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Buyer Beware Replacement Parts

I have read several reviews that said the parts are either old or some are faded as if they have been in the sun for a long time. I've been using items like this for 30, 40 years. I dared to understand what the hell. The package is slightly faded in the sun, the hoses and clamps look normal. The complaint is that if you find the tubing torn in any way, you can only guess what it was when it was packaged. I will use this for the bottom hose. live and learn

Pros
  • Includes Vacuum Hose, Fuel Hose, Heater Hose and Radiator Hose
Cons
  • Quality
