I bought this to replace mine (from another company). You are perfect; the springs are not too hard, the workmanship is good and clean, they seal perfectly; easy to install and clean. (That is, once you get used to this type of rack where the spring/cymbal isn't "permanently" attached. Warning, you'll blow the spring/cymbal off the first few times you take it apart, to clean the barrels. ). In general, however, they are perfect.

Having the same problem as all the 1 star reviews. As a result, during one of the attempts to tighten it, I broke the thread. Luckily the thread broke when I replaced it and the barrel doesn't belong to me. These are threads that go deep to replace them. You only need three threads, not the 15 that run almost the entire length of the valve. Might work for some but not all. I say check the thread length on your barrel first if 3 threads don't work.

I bought this set of racks and cymbals to replace a dying set from a used common keg. Installation was a breeze. What was strange, however, was that there were a lot of metal shavings in the product bag. I assume they were redundant due to the grub screws, but they were sharp and made removing the product from the pouch difficult. None of this affected the product. I have three of these kits and couldn't get them to work at first. As soon as I pressurized the keg, the contents poured out of the column. It turns out that when I tighten them, the base of the rack touches the top of the barrel before there's a good seal. The way I got around this is to use two o-rings on the pipe. After installation and pressure testing I immediately noticed leaks in the bottoms of both racks. I saw another review that mentioned the same issue and it attached two o-rings to the fork legs which seemed to fix the leak, but now the disconnects are difficult to install due to the added compression of the internal spring . I think if they were about 1/16-1/8" shorter than the filament they would work perfectly, but if you're looking for cheap ones that can be made to work they will work for…
