This spud is NOT a dud!

is available I have been using this potato peeler model for many years. Not only is this little one adorable, but he'll stand up with his bristles on a germ-infested surface rather than the floor. It's worth buying for that alone. Its bristles are beautiful and strong. Continuous. Overall, this is a really great fruit and veg scrubber.

Pros
  • For best results, hold food under running water while cleaning.
Cons
  • update

I love how cute he looks and I really hope so.

I love how cute he looks and I was so hoping he would be cool but he's doing fine. After about 6 uses, its small bristles fall out and sway to the side. Another disadvantage is that when trying to peel potatoes, it's uncomfortable to hold and gets slippery easily.

Pros
  • Joie Spud Dude quickly and easily cleans dirt, pesticides and debris from potatoes
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Pretty on the sink, terrible in the hand

I love it and use it, but it's the least ergonomic part I've ever used. It's really nice to sit next to my sink and use the bristles of the brush to brush the dirt off my potatoes, but I'm pretty sure a less "kawaii" potato brush will get the job done much quicker and easier. However, I doubt anyone would ever bother to put down a potato brush and think about using it unless it was sitting pretty on the counter.

Pros
  • Easy to use; durable and reusable; rinse after each use and air dry
Cons
  • Unusable features
