So far good - spare parts

The engine seems to have leveled off a bit. I'm a little concerned that he will die in a year or so as others have reported. The time will show.

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Performance spare parts

The coil was easy to install and I felt a little quicker throttle response. Not a huge increase in horsepower. Overall a good product.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good Price: Parts

First, my 1989 Ford Bronco wire clamp for this coil has a loose fit. Otherwise, the launch response is significantly better. A little creativity to ensure the coil wire clamp stays secure, no problem. All original 5.0L v8 59,000 miles, 1989 Bronco

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • Socket Required

Garbage! Absolutely terrible! Took 3 miles

Absolutely Terrible! 3 km driven and the spark went out. had to be towed. Didn't think that was the problem. Threw a new distributor, pip and main computer. No more new msd coil garbage! I installed an old Ford factory coil and everything worked perfectly. Stay away from all MSD China junk! You will regret it cost me hundreds of dollars for nothing!

Pros
  • Build Quality
Cons
  • Disappearance

Heavy Duty Coil Coil

I picked up this coil after my OEM unit lost power. I have this on my 1986 F-150 with a 3006 and it has some serious power. I would strongly recommend replacing the connector cables. This had enough force to punch through the connector on the valve cover. It's running great at just over 1000 miles, the truck runs a little better with the new cap rotor, cables, spark plugs and this coil. Very cheap upgrade.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
