I would like to give it 6 stars for battery life because I don't know if there is another laptop with similar specs that will let you work offline with the same battery life. After lowering the CPU voltage, temperatures are fine, mid 60s to mid 70s, in game at 1440p Ultra settings with a TimeSpy score of around 8300. Excellent laptop in terms of performance, looks and price. But unfortunately I got a bad device with a lot of backlight and other problems with the SSD and the graphics card. I will have to send it back to MSI for repair.

UPDATE: JUST 4 MONTHS LATER. . Keyboard RGB LEDs begin to die (cut out one color from the full color spectrum affecting multiple settings) for individual key-backlight settings. What a beast of a car.

Great screen. 1080p is all you need for a laptop, and 300Hz is a nice touch. The laptop turns off the 2080S when not in use, quadrupling battery life. At 70% my battery showed 8 hours of battery life. But if you want to torture the battery, the laptop lets you do that. You can pretty much get a battery experience if you're happy with an hour and a half of battery life. The build quality is really insane. That thing looks like a tank. The fans are quiet all the time and not too loud under load…
