My thoughts on vacuum valves

This item was nearly identical to the part that needed to be replaced. It was just as solid and appeared to be of good quality.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Quality

Works well no complaints

I replaced the check valve in the engine bay of my 02 Volvo S40 with this one and it works fine so can't complain. The price was much cheaper than the OEM part.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • old

Check your check valve, neither worked for me!

Well I bought two of these in case one fails. Take them out of the bag and they will both leak. Not just a small leak. It's like they're just a hose connector, no verification.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Plug and Play!: Vacuum Valves

Perfect replacement for my daughter's 2003 VW Turbo Beetle. One of the three vacuum check valves is worn out. Couldn't find anything locally but they arrived a few days later and got the job done. Make sure you have small hose clamps as factory installed hose clamps cannot be reused.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

04 VW Beetle Fits perfectly!

Exactly what I need for 2 that sit directly on the engine under the cover. Mine were rotted and cracked causing a check engine light and air leak noise. I bought new screw terminals to replace the factory terminal blocks (just cut them off and throw them away, they're too hard to reuse) and everything is great now. I repaired a 2004 VW Beetle.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Appearance

Amazon price was perfect it was a direct replacement

Fits and works great! This was for a 2003 VW Passat 1.8T. None of the auto parts stores had it and when I contacted my local VW dealer they quoted me $49 for this part! The Amazon price was perfect, it was a direct replacement, the hose ridges were perfect for the vacuum lines. It has the same markings as the original showing the direction of installation (this is a check valve, air only goes one way). I've ordered two just in case, but will order more from Amazon if needed.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Concise instructions
