I bought these for my 2004 Volvo XC70. I had issues with the front suspension and had to replace a few parts, but that was the icing on the cake. Correct the weird, loose and funny noise that is left. Now I am happy

MATCHES MY 09 XC90 CHECK IF I HAVE LONG SCREWS AND YOU ARE. YOU HAVE A SMALLER HEAD SIZE, BUT THE THREAD IS CORRECT. THEY DID NOT HAVE THREADED TIRES TO THE LEVEL LIKE THE ORIGINAL. 25 feet/lbs. + 90 DEGREE FOR INSTALLATION. 50 MILES NO PROBLEM, NO noticeable "PING"

These bolts are not to original Volvo specs. The 2008 xc90 3.2 AWD had the proverbial drive axle clicking sound. Installed MTC Ping Bolt and increased the click noise. The bolts, tightened to Volvo specifications, went deep into the axle and stripped the threads of the bolt holes when removed. The Volvo shop diagnosed and replaced genuine old stock Volvo bolts. Can't recommend this part.

The product looks the same as on the IPD and is the only site that recommends this type of screw to eliminate the ringing when shifting out of park or reverse to drive. I changed all the bearings including the gearbox bearing and the noise bothered me not knowing it was just a banjo bolt with a rubber washer that would solve the problem. Cheaper than IPD but follow the instructions on their website.

These screws were essentially the same length as the stock screws I removed from my 2006 v70r. There was a slight difference in washer thickness but nothing significant and the rubber negates that. Anyway, installation was easy: jack up car, remove wheels, remove banjo bolts, install new ones and tighten, then tighten but not yet .
