🚘 MTC Volvo Aluminum Skid Plate (with Hardware Kit) - Replaces OEM# 31316732 Review

Perfect match for my 2017 S60 T5 AWD. Overall a good skid plate. Would give 5 stars but only 4 because of the lousy rubber buffers in the mounting holes. 3 of them arrived torn and one didn't stay at all. I ended up buying some good, thicker pads from the hardware store and replacing them all. The hardware also seems blah. I reused the original hardware from my car to install it. However, for the price, I would recommend it.

Received the skid plate today and installed it in under 30 minutes. When I unpacked the skid plate I was a little worried it wouldn't fit because it had a sticker that said Volvo S60, but after putting the car on the ramp and leveling it I saw it didn't fit. right size. The panel is strong and looks like it will adequately protect the underside of my car from ice and snow this winter. It comes with all the necessary hardware but no instructions, although easy to understand.

Fits well, easy to install. The packaging could have been better, one corner was slightly bent but bent by hand and assembled in 10 minutes. The only gripe is with the chrome hardware: for a whopping $7, I bought stainless hardware at my local hardware store to keep them from rusting. (I haven't had the original hardware long enough to rust to be honest). 2015 V60 T-5, fits perfectly.
