MTH rock. for amplifier

Replaced my heavily used Incredible MTX 4160 in the mid 90's. I know the old 1 was way undervalued. New sounds like I once got a used 1 for 99 that much. Very happy

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are nuances

hoped it would last longer

got it November 2015, died May 2019. I don't know what happened but it just stopped and went into protection mode while I was driving and heard music

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Almost never

Jeep Wrangler bumps again.

Hooked this little thing up to the Terminator 12 today and all I can say is this thing punches a man, it's not about the amp size, it's about the RMS going to the woofers goes. I really liked it, Thunderstruck had to play immediately.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some little things

Best amp for your money.

I paired this 4-channel amp with two Alpine-S 6.5" and two Alpine-S 6x9 speakers. This combination gives the vehicle a wide range of mid/high and low frequencies. Makes the factory Bose and Infinity stereos in my other cars sound below par. This amp is money well spent, you won't regret it!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • boring packaging

This little amp is booming! Let it feed the MTX.

This little amp is cool! Let him power the MTX terminators and he'll drive the car. So far no overheating or inconsistencies in the protection modes, the device has only been used for more than a month. But just make sure you place your subwoofers correctly and I'm sure you'll never have a problem with this amp!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Goes perfectly with the MTX Terminators

I bought this to power my MTX Terminator subwoofers and the MTX Audio Bass remote control knob for the MTX Thunder/Wet series. I've heard that the amp that came with the speakers was rubbish and would overheat and cut out at short intervals. I decided to go to MTX Audio's website and this amp was recommended to me. I've been using it for a week now and they power my subwoofers really well, the amp is small and never gets hot or turns off and I've installed it behind my speakers and haven't had…

  • Price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Normal amp with problems. Suitable for Car Audio

Using this amplifier to drive 8 4 ohm speakers connected in parallel for an effective 2 ohm load. There's plenty of power, but for most applications it doesn't sound $110 better than a Planet Audio 4-channel amp (which also uses AB topology). In fact, there is a buzzing sound coming out of my DML speakers. The distortion seems to be related to specific frequencies. Planet Audio: no problem. $15 PCB amp from China? No questions. I isolated the amp from other embedded processors and no matter…

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Faulty

Great amp! the best in automotive electronics

Amazing amplifier! Sounds great and looks great with an all-metal body. Furnishings are relatively basic with all the usual fixtures and fittings you would expect. All speaker and power connections have screw compression, which is very convenient and saves time when connecting. I have a feeling the red area under the MTX logo should light up, if only for aesthetic reasons (or maybe it does, but I just can't tell =/). But other than that, there are no external or functional claims. Internally…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Zero
