Nice jar with a wooden lid that closes. I'd say it probably holds 2-3 small cloves of garlic, or 2.5 large ones. This is approximately 4 inches high and 3 inches wide. I usually store garlic in the fridge, but I test it outside to see how the flavor and texture stays in the jar compared to the fridge. It's only been a month and so far so good!

This sentinel's mouth is too narrow and cannot accommodate large cloves of garlic. I hate breaking my head just to put it in a keeper. After all, if you have to break your head, the keeper's goal of keeping the garlic fresh will be defeated. I would like to be a little more cautious when buying. Still, it's a nice addition to my kitchen.

We bought this garlic holder to replace an old downright ugly one that my husband had intended to use for at least 25 years, even though it was partially broken. We like this new one because it has clean, simple lines, holds multiple cloves of garlic, and is of high quality. I think it will look great in any style of kitchen.

I felt we never had a place to store garlic cloves so I ordered this one. I didn't want to because some people said it wasn't enough. These people should buy elephant garlic. If you buy regular garlic, 3-4 whole cloves will easily fit, and even more if you break them up. The lid is held on top and is not tight. So, if there is a bunch of garlic, it will fit with the lid slightly raised. Very cute and would buy again.

This garlic keeper looks great on my counter. I use a lot of fresh garlic in my cooking because it's both delicious and healthy. This garlic holder is a bit small for me. I have 2.5 small cloves of organic garlic that won't fit in the holder unless I break them. I prefer to keep them whole, so I'm not very happy with that aspect. The only thing I like about it is that the garlic didn't start to sprout while sitting in the holder. A larger warehouse for garlic is being sought.
