They didn't close and kept leaking. Sounds like the rubber isn't thick enough or the spring isn't strong enough. I can't even buy more because I don't think they will work.

They fit my MoistAir HD14050 perfectly. The humidifier is old and 1 lid became brittle and broke. Ordered, delivery in 2 days. I've replaced the valves on both tanks so I'll last another 5 years.

Both covers came out of the gasket (spring) during installation. Maybe others had ones who didn't, but I had them. Tried different tire positions but still the same problem. Everything worked after installation, but it's a hassle to transport every container that leaves a water trail.

They leak a little when you carry the water tank to the car. The seal doesn't seem to work that well. I also noticed that there is no gasket or rubber O-ring. I had a few so I put one in and it's a little better but water is still leaking from the lids.

This is a proper replacement for my Kenmore but what's the point of selling it without a gasket to seal it and the plastic tank? I didn't notice and threw away the broken one before I knew it. You can carry over the old one, but you want that gasket to be new when you replace the part.

This was a very good replacement for my Kenmore humidifier 758.144533. Others have complained about these leaks. I didn't have the new o-rings which were orange on the originals. flowed first. After I removed the orange O-rings from the old valve caps and put them on the new ones, they didn't leak at all.

Lid for Emerson model HD70020 humidifier. The cap worked great after I pulled the o-ring out of the old cap and put it in the new cap. Disappointed that the new cap does not have a new O-ring. I wish you could pay a few bucks more and get a new o-ring complete with cap.
