I bought this to replace my old vacuum interrupter. While it works great. Unlike my original part, the cap is plastic, not metal, so I don't think it will last as long as the original.

I was glad to find this part in stock after trying to find a replacement at hardware stores in our area. I dared because I didn't know the manufacturer of my frost-resistant bibs. It fits perfectly and only needs to be hand tightened to ensure a tight seal. The top is plastic, not the original metal, but I'll probably get the part in before the winter freezes come. At this price I plan to order several spare parts.
