I bought this in January this year when my back hurt. After a week of agony I bought these braces. Within 3 days my back felt a lot better as the corset allowed my back to heal. Whenever I feel a strain on my back (e.g. after gardening, mulching) I put it on and it gives me the extra support I need. I highly recommend it. (My braces are only a few months old, by the way, but they're holding up well.)
