1995 Silverado. Fits perfectly, performs and performs like an OEM. Advice from an ASE certified mechanic. You don't need to remove the steering wheel to install it. With the top and bottom covers removed, turn the steering wheel 90 degrees to the left of center. Then you have enough space to remove the bottom screw.

I received it in 2 days, it works perfectly, the installation is not easy, I had to remove the airbag from my 1995 Chevy Tahoe to install it. It also requires a lot of shooting to get to the 3 harnesses. Check YouTube before attempting to install this yourself. The product works fine for me, unfortunately GM didn't make it a quick and easy replacement.

I bought this for a 1995 K1500. After installation, the light got worse. Even the gauges on the dashboard stopped working. After several days of trying to find the problem, I bought another one from my local parts store. Now it works like new. I understand that this is an electrical part and sometimes it fails. Didn't have time to wait for a replacement, just sent it back for a refund. I would check other reviews with the same issue as mine before purchasing.

Failed about a week after installation and made an odd humming noise for about a second when the brake was applied with the turn signals on. I've replaced the tail light boards and bulbs and have hunted down the problem to no avail. Then I installed a new Delco switch and the problem was solved. Installing the switch is a real pain and I wasn't thrilled to have to do it again.

I had problems with brake lights, a stuck steering column and a problem with the emergency switch. It turned out to be a multi-switch, which you can simply think of as an emergency switch. Replacing this item fixed everything. All functions work after replacement including those that worked previously such as cruise, windshield wipers etc. The printing on the stem is not as clear as the original so you can easily tell it is an offshore repop, but it works. Durability will show over time.

Use caution when installing this part. Before you bring everything back, make sure it really works. I had a switch that caused my turn signals to stop flashing when I hit the brakes. I ordered a replacement that did the same thing, but it only happens when I hold the turn signal to one side or the other without fully depressing it. If I push the switch all the way to the left or right, everything is fine. If you want a cheap working part this is your part but make sure it is fully working…

This one we ordered didn't work and we fitted it after 30 days because the truck was in the shop. We checked all the connections to make sure it installed and it was correct. The right turn signal does not work properly. Instead, the hazard warning lights come on and a buzzing sound is heard when the right turn signal is activated.
