This seems nice and sturdy and looks perfect in my space. The metal bars that allow the "doors" to slide open and closed don't slide easily, and on one side you have to pull the whole thing away from the wall to be able to slide them, or else they scratch against the wall. I wish it was made so that the "doors" could open beyond the picture frames on the outside so you could see both the pictures and the chalkboard at once.

This looks so cute in my kitchen. It's rustic, but not too rustic. I was able to get it mounted with no issue, and it comes with all of the hardware. Everything is put together well, and finished nicely. The sliding doors don't really have a stopping point in the center, so you have to position them yourself, not really a problem though, I don't see using them a whole lot. I just love the way it looks, it's definitely a fun piece. Also packaged and shipped securely.

Overall we do like this blackboard / photo frame although it does have a few minor issues.This is easy to install, carefully measure & mark & level where the mounting screws will need to go in your wall, use their anchors or your own, secure the screws & hang.The one we received is not quite flat / square. When receiving this chalkboard it had a finish smell to it when unboxing it. I left the window in our mud room open to help out with the smell and that seemed to help a lot. I opened this up and loved it immediately. It's just what I've been looking for and I have the perfect empty space for it.As I removed it from the packaging I noticed the back of the chalkboard was loose. A close inspection showed me it was more than loose - it was coming undone and all the nails were exposed. The nails appear to have been been put in at an angle. This is an awesome chalk board picture frame combo. I needed something to take place of an ugly portion of a wall and this did the trick perfectly. There was no assembly required. I was told by an extended family member it looks great. We decided to use the chalk board for bible verses. The chalk board also works perfectly with liquid chalk due to it's non porous surface!

This is a fun picture frame and chalkboard set. We have it hanging in our laundry room,, where we can write funny family notes.

Overall it is a nice/unique piece of decor. I get many compliments on it and I’m happy with it. The only thing I wish is that the doors would glide smoothly. It gets stuck a little, but since you aren’t often opening and shutting it, it’s not a big problem.

The rustic look is great, it has a cedar smell to it when it comes out of the box. The backing for the pictures are easy to take out and put back in. Hanging it was no issue. Gave to the my wife as a gift and she loved it.
