My son loves this helmet. I don't think he'll last as long as he's supposed to because he has a big head and we've already had to remove the removable foam to get it to fit and he's only 4 years old.

My son is 6 so I chose the medium one and it fits perfectly. It's adjustable, cute and definitely not a helmet like everyone else. I like that it can be more noticeable and easily recognizable. The helmet protects him when cycling or skateboarding.

You are growing too fast. One of my kids outgrew his last helmet and we had to buy him a new one. He was in awe of the bright green and orange spiked dinosaur helmet. The spines are soft. It has a foam shell inside as well as additional foam that can be used for toddler pads. The vents allow it to play hard without overheating. Of course the strap is adjustable. Just super damn cute and he was on cloud nine.

It is a cute design and my son loves it but i don't think it's a very good safety helmet. At the moment he only uses it on his balance bike, but once he starts riding a real bike I will buy him a better helmet. It doesn't fit well because he has nothing to tighten on his head except for a chin strap which he doesn't want to tighten because his chin hurts. It also sits very high on the head and the padding comes loose after just a few wears.
