Well the shank that fits your drill is now in my drill. I don't blame anyone but mainly my ignorance and lack of knowledge on how to use this type of bit? So first off, I'm glad I have another drill that isn't cordless, but luckily it's a different drill. Second, I either take my drill apart in hopes of putting it back together, or accept that I have a special hole drill and get other bits as long as they're compatible with the existing chuck that doesn't move.
