Finally a multimeter for smaller voltage measurements!

I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Maybe I'm just not good at searching, but I found this and it's perfect for what I need, tiny voltage readings.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

Revainrating 5 out of 5

accurate, durable, versatile

this is my 6th multimeter in 8 years, it feels solid, it's accurate, gives quick readings and I I like the pin blocking function, the only thing I didn't like was the backlight, it can't be controlled, it's controlled by LDR, a light-dependent resistor, turns on automatically in the dark, but sometimes you need a backlight in one less dark place.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I really don't like it, everything is fine

Better than expected.

Shown to a friend and he ordered almost immediately. He and I compared two instruments with a newly calibrated Fluke 179 and both were exactly the same as the Fluke 179. The AP-770D has one digit more than the Fluke 179 so the resolution is higher. I am comparing to the Fluke 179 because it is the standard instrument used by the company I work for. Needless to say I am more than satisfied with this instrument.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Trouble

Okay, but it has its downsides, including support.

The meter has many functions but the frequency counter doesn't work at all for me. I sent a question to the manufacturer about this the same day I received it, but more than a month has gone by without their support team responding. This thing is really SLOOOOOOW. You place the probes on something to measure and don't see a reading for 2-3 seconds. Should have paid the extra money and bought a Fluke instead. Spring. live and learn

  • Amazing
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Good electrical multimeter

Good accuracy, high resolution, 40,000 counts Replaces a failed 50,000 count meter. It has many improvements over the previous counter. It has an auto backlight that WORKS if you go to a darker place, it will turn on automatically for easier reading. It has all the necessary bells and whistles. Automatic switch-off to avoid unnecessarily draining the battery. The backlight also turns on the light on the pointer so you can see what it's set to in the dark. The locking system prevents wires from…

  • Excellent design

  • Clarity

Very good meter with a few small issues

I've only used it briefly but it works well. I like the reading resolution (40,000 counts) but haven't tested the accuracy. I don't like two features. One for diode/resistor where there are 3 different tests. The one I use the most, continuity, is the third option for this setup. Maybe picky, but because I use it so often, it's annoying. Secondly, it is a "protective function for connectors. Different scale settings (e.g. voltage versus current) require the use of different sensor terminals (as

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Intermittent beep

This is a 5 digit handheld multimeter. I won't go into accuracy as it's debatable at this price point. An interesting feature is the yellow cover over the ports, which moves when you turn the mode dial. The manufacturer must have paid a lot of attention to this, because all the common modes are on the right half of the dial and there is also an "off” position. In this left half, the measuring line can remain in the socket. In the positions of the left half, the cover moves, so the red connector

  • One year trial
