Very happy with multi testers

I have had many testers over the years. This tester works just as well as those that cost three times as much. Very satisfied.

  • Negative impression

Overall ok: Multitester

I ended up getting 5 of these, two for me and one each for my sons. Received an extra due to a misunderstanding when ordering. Just as. On one of them, if a 9V DC battery was below 8 volts, it would read the household AC power as high, if it was 120, for example, it would read 180. On a dryer between two legs with 120VAC it would read 360VAC. With a new battery, the voltage was displayed correctly. Another doesn't matter, if the battery was new 9vdc, at 5vdc it would read a fully charged car…

Pros
  • Great for all your needs
Cons
  • Not as thick as other kits

Small, handy, the best in electronics

Bought from WM for $17.97 - I carry it on me as a spare for contingencies and haven't used it much - it seems work well - the main reason for writing a review is to show its characteristics - no surprises on resistance, dc volts, ac volts and dc current - also it measures the forward resistance of a diode in kΞ© with a test current of 1.5mA maximum - this gives one too 30-40 Hz square wave, 2 volts (pp) maximum that can be applied to each audio amplifier input to test operation by generating…

Pros
  • Measures voltage, current and resistance
Cons
  • There are nuances

unreliable; can kill you.

Error. I don't see what's wrong with this counter, but there was nothing but trouble. I opened it up and calibrated it with Fluke, but even then it gives erroneous readings. Strangely, some of the erroneous readings repeated, giving the impression that the problem was in the circuitry, but when tested with Fluke, performance was ideal. Accuracy is very important in my job, but I needed a shot counter for a field. All he had to do was give me an accurate AC power reading. This gauge could not do

Pros
  • Ideal for all your home appliances
Cons
  • Quality
