Used as a standalone product. I have 3c strawberry blonde hair that I dye copper every 5 weeks. My hair is relatively healthy, but in mid-March I used a bleach-free color remover that damaged my mids and ends. Steps 1 and 2 had absolutely no effect on the light chemical damage I had done and I even had a color cut before using this product. I bought this because I was in a hurry to color and shipping from Olaplex would take longer. And used it with Schwarzkopf bleach and oh my god my hair is amazing! Well, first things first. I've tried Olaplex and I have to say my hair isn't a fan, I've bleached and highlighted my hair with keratin. I don't know why but it worked better than Olaplex on my platinum white hair. I used the #2 after bleaching and have used it every few days and the shape of my hair is superb having previously worn down the blonde. I don't know why it works for me, but Olaplex has never given me such results. Okay. let me just say that WONDER. This stuff is just amazing. I was able to bleach my hair a third time (I don't recommend that of course), but I used developer 20 and strong bleach.
