This was such a great purchase I will be getting a second set. They work great in the trunk, the bottom of the passenger seats in my car don't tip over and they are so convenient to carry breakables or containers of liquids with them! I highly recommend!

I have a VW CarGo mat in the boot of my Jetta and these holders work great. I think the type of carpet or rug is important. I also have a 2016 Jetta and these carriers are exactly the same as the VW brand carriers (identical). Result: exploded

I bought these to use with my Chevy Tahoe. They do what they were made to do and hold onto the carpet. Inexpensive solution for items sliding across the back of the car. I like that I can move them around as needed for different loads. Definitely recommend this product.

We bought 3 sets for our 3 cars. The only trick is that you need at least one semi-plush rug for them to grapple with. Works great in my wife and son's cars (needs 2 hands to pull them out) but the carpet in my trunk is pretty slippery and they don't sag at all. So we kept 2 and sent one back. But overall this is a good product.

They actually work too well. I used them on the back carpet of my Cadillac XT5 SUV and they stuck so well I had a hard time getting them off. Even when I laid them lightly, when I took them down it pulled a noticeable amount of lint out of the carpet. UPDATE - I really wanted to use them, so I went to Walmart and found Cargo Liners in the car mats department. It has a low pile and these blocks will cling to it securely. A good after-sales solution to prevent things from hanging in the trunk. I have a 2009 Honda Pilot and they work great on some areas of the carpet and not others. These blocks, while well constructed, cannot stop reverse rollover. This can easily happen when you are transporting items other than square boxes.
