Great squirt toy! People who complain about mold. Yes, you can. Alternatively, you can throw the water out after each use, and I top them up with sanitizer or bleach water once a week and leave them on for at least 30 minutes. I only had 3 of the 4 packs I ordered. And they probably overlooked when I disinfected them because my boys carried them out of the bathroom.

As others have pointed out, the fact that these bath toys have tiny holes through which to spray water makes them a breeding ground for mold. To avoid this problem, I applied a small amount of aquarium glue to the opening of each toy to seal it. Seeing so many negative comments about these toys and molds, I feel like I should share my thoughts on mold and squirt toys. The only way to get rid of mold is to buy bath toys without holes so you end up with a basic rocking chair. All squirt toys need holes to squirt well. Even with the best intentions of removing as much water as possible there will be mold and the only difference between our experience with these toys is how quickly or how long it takes for the mold to form.
